Distorted Democracy In India
In a real democracy the first right as well as the duty of people is to vote in elections. But in India only 50% people go to voting hence the democracy is only half democracy, a distorted democracy where fruits of development not reach the common man.
Hence voting in election should be made compulsory to make it a participatory fully fledged democracy, where justice will reach the common man and corruption will be under control. But the government is scared of bringing such legislation which may weaker its hold on power but without true democracy no development can be permanent, hence there should be a movement to bring real democracy in the country.
